Endless Pool Filter Oct 30, 2011

I had always purchased our Endless Pool filters from the Endless Pool Company because I could not find the specific filter locally or on-line. Now that I have found this filter, Pleatco PAP50-4 repalcement Cartridge for Predator 50 - Pentair Clean and Clear 50, 1 Cartridge purchased it, received it, and installed it, I will never pay twice as much with the Endless Pool Company.
The filter looks great and fits correctly.
It is still in its first week of performance but seems to be doing just as well as the same filter received from Endless Pools and better than half the price.
I noticed that buying two is even cheaper so next order will be for two.
We are only supposed to change them every six months but I think I can stow one for 6 months.
I will look to see if I can find the companion Zodiac Nature2 CF Mineral Sanitizers that come in 4 packs.
Then I would be free of Endless Pools as a supplier for the consumables.

I was concerned with the product due to the price being so low. It was almost triple at our local pool store. I'v been using the filter for approx. one month and everything is going great! Thank you Amazon for helping us out during this tough economy. Our kids are thankful that they can still use their pool even in our time of crisis.
