By theDeuce These are really good filters. I much prefer the Microban over the standard. My water stays crystal clear. I have had sand filters and cartridge and although cleaning these is cumbersome, I'd much rather have these than sand filters. These are much more efficient at removing debris and although you don't waste as much water as backwashing sand, you do waste a bit when cleaning these.
